LOT61 is known for its remarkable coffee offerings that highlight the rich and dynamic flavors sourced from around the globe. As echoed in reviews from patrons, the coffee is crafted with an artisan touch. The ambiance at LOT61 is equally noteworthy. With a mix of cozy corners and industrial charm, it provides a perfect space to unwind and enjoy your drink—whether you’re taking a break from museum-hopping or soaking up some afternoon sun. The spacious layout, though sometimes bustling due to its popularity, ensures you never feel cramped.
The baristas are a standout feature as well, offering not only top-notch coffee recommendations but also a warm, welcoming demeanor that makes each visit special. Guests have commented on the excellent hospitality and the informative tasting notes available, allowing coffee lovers to deepen their appreciation for the brews they enjoy.
However, there are a few areas where LOT61 might improve. Some customers reported inconsistencies with food items, such as overly hard baked goods. Nevertheless, the overall culinary experience often surpasses these minor setbacks, particularly for those focused on the coffee itself.

“ Decent matcha quality. Strong flavour and good froth, pretty latte art! Some chunks in the bottom of the cup as they used an electric whisk in the cup (rather than a bowl) so almost impossible to whisk it completely. ”
“ Great hospitality from the baristas. If you are into speciality coffee, make sure you ask the barista and get some recommendations They have nice testing note designed for customers to learn more about their coffee. It was a special coffee roaster deal for International women’s day. Got to try a super nice coffee and recommendation There’s plenty of space inside the coffee shop but could be crowded to get your order as it has nice coffee and a good location by the riverside. Definitely would love to visit it next time! ”
“ Discovered this coffee shop while walking in Amsterdam and I’m so happy that we popped in! The coffee here is amazing, I got the Mont Blanc and loved it! This drink had the best vanilla cold foam I’ve had. ”
“ A perfect pit stop on a drizzly museum-hopping day. LOT61 pours a smooth, deeply flavorful cold brew that hit exactly right when I needed a recharge. Tucked into a cozy corner with industrial charm, this spot knows its beans and keeps things focused. Fast, friendly, and seriously good coffee. ”
“ The iced latte was pretty good, but I was a bit disappointed about the cinnamon roll. It looked extremely tasty but ended up being too hard so it didn’t feel newly baked. The place was very cute though and it’s perfect if you want some afternoon sun. ”
“ There was a line and we were about to leave because we were in a hurry, but a girl in line told us the coffee was worth it — and she was right. Truly great specialty coffee, full of flavor and perfectly made. Food isn’t their strong point, but if you’re looking for quality coffee, this is the place ”
“ One of my fav spot for coffee in Amsterdam. Love their own roasted beans too. ”
“ This is the best speciality coffee place in Amsterdam hands down. I am talking about coffee and desserts. The espresso was soothing. I highly recommend the connamon roll (amazing), I also recommend the lemon cake which was mesmerizing and delicious. The peanut butter and jelly was ok tbh. ”
